Always ran straight 30w Napa in our 92 with a 351. That what the manual recommended

Yes Grand Sport Elite may just have a few more bells and whistles compared to the Grand Sport. Not sure if I can change the thread title from Elite to Grand Sport @Horton?

Anyone have experience with the slalom wakes?
-
Pretty sure that boat or one like it was used in a Water Skier mag add back in the 70’s.

Sounds like good news for PP Zbox

@Rednucleus take a look at the O’Neill Fluid Drysuit. I bought mine in ‘95 and had O’Neill retape and replace the zipper two years ago. It’s still in great shape, dry, comfortable, light and well built.

Great format, lots a good skiing and fun to watch. Thanks for putting it together!

Be careful with a blow dryer. I slightly over cooked one once and it got very stiff. Eddie Roberts suggested that I just ski the new ones into shape and he was right. After ~6 or so sets they felt great, formed to my feet and ankles well.

Nice chart

Funny, I thought that looked familiar. The coaches put those same boots on my EP at Jimmy Durhams Ski School in SC back in ‘89 😎

@Than_BoganMike Syderhoud too for sure.

If it’s made well and there is still a shower at Aquatic Park it should be fine.

What wake 😀 I don’t see any.

My first ARS was a Mellos version from Richmond CA in ‘94. Been a big fan ever since. Have tried the traditional tie a couple times over the years and they always feel less stable/rolly to me.

Just ordered a new black bull. Current one is on its 4th season with ~140 sets and is still in great shape.

I got an O’Neill epic 4/3 full recently lighter and more flexible than the BLP 3/4 shorty. Real nice for 50 to 60’s water
-
O’Neil Epic LS Shorty. They seem to have been discontinued but mine is still in good shape after 6 seasons. Heck I still have the O’Neill BLP 3/4 shorty from 1994 and a Fluid Dry from 96 and both are in excellent condition. I sent both to O’Neill for some retaping, a couple seals, panels and a new dry zipper back in 2018.

One of if not the best pro tour season ever, imo.
