  1. Hopefully someone can help me out here since the boat is out of town for the winter. Does anyone know the distance between the lifting rings on a 1998 Ski Nautique closed bow? Thanks in advance.
  2. Dude almost ran 38 on the Katana, I'd say katana is the way to go.
  3. I seriously doubt wakeboard even come close to the bass boat market. Fishermen used to be the waterskiers enemy, but I think the wakeboard boats ran them off.,Around here now, there's more folks fishing at night.
  4. Does anyone know which Radar is most similar to the HO TX? Is it the Theory or the Senate? What is clean edge technology? If it is so good, why isn't it on the high end skis?
  5. Anyone know if 2018 Senate Lithium is available in 71"?
  6. I don't think the Senate Lithium is available anymore?
  7. One thing I like about bigger skis is the ability to really slow the boat down and work on technique and not beating yourself up with the drag. Bigger skis are alright at slower speeds and up to 28 off. Anything faster and shorter, you'll definitely need a shorter ski.
  8. I like courses like those. You guys don't know what you're missing. One buoy comes up on you fast and the next takes way toooo long to get to. Called Ninja Skiing.
  9. Now, I know pro skiers could ski well on any ski out there. But I'm thinking regular Joes out there. We all know the Vapor can go 41 off. But I've seen regular Joe's run into 39.5 on the Senates and Theory's. I've even seen 28 off run on a 71" P6. I don't know about you guys, but it looks to me like Radar's got it figured out!
  10. I don't think you can get them in the US. I reached out for prices and never heard back. Anyway, I settled on a Radar. Always been happy with Radar.
  11. From what I am hearing, cable skiing is not under threat.
  12. I have this feeling that a lot of no waterski politics is going to involve waterski politics. Don't really have a dog in this fight that's coming, but I do care about what's right and wrong. Unfortunately, the EPA is coming for the private ski lakes.
  13. I am kind of on the fence with the hardshell being an advantage over soft boots. Maybe they are safer, but with Mapple skis and other ski companies concentrating on torsional flex, it does seen counter-intuitive to have a firm boot while the ski flexes sideways.
  14. Level playing field? What we really need is a salary cap like the NFL. You cannot ski on a private lake. You cannot practice with ZO. You must ski on a public lake. If you ski in Florida year round you get a 12 buoy handicap, 30 foot jumping handicap and 1800 point trick handicap. Now that would be a level playing field. Sorry, I just couldn't help myself. John Goss
  15. With 9 flips, I believe Cory could have tricked 13 or 14 K.
  16. The only time I've personally seen that type of fall is my daughter skiing at the Nat's coming off 4 ball in incredibly good shape and boom, otf, tail of ski hit her in the back of her head. Was headed to podium until that fall. Still scratching my head on that one. Four years later and she has never had another otf.
  17. What type Interloc do I put on the ski and the power plate? I do not want the powerplate coming apart from the ski, the power plate will have a rtp and a Reflex binding.
  18. Does anyone know how wide the 69 Synchro is?
  19. Plenty of them in the Carolinas.
  20. Any one ride the 62.5" Goode Wide ride? I am looking to see if anyone who weighs 170 lbs. has rode this length WR with good results.
