In our little canyon oasis known as gunsight, there were 3 stupid titanic boats and 4 ProStars. 2 with my group and one with our neighbor and one with some other dudes we didn’t know. Seeing as how surfers are lazy and sleep their arses in, we had the canyon to ourselves every morning from 6 to 9. Pretty cools to see 4 ProStars sitting at one end as one by one they would be off with perfect wakes and deep cuts. Perfect week.

 

@skispray had a 23 year old had sex with my 17 year old daughter, his buoy count would drop by 98 percent! That is still absolutely not right.

I don't post much anymore, but I definitely lurk. We tend to idolize people with exceptional abilities in life. Athletes, politicians, actors, etc. Nate has definitely gotten the benefit of the doubt in this community because of how talented he is in skiing the balls. So what! I look at how @Horton is with his little Buford; I look at how many men are with their daughters; I look at what kind of father I am to my 3 daughters; I look at how people treat other people; that is how I measure how "great" a person is. For ANY man to strike a woman--no matter how pissed off he is--he is a coward and a POS>. Combine that with ANY activity involving a minor--that man can go to hell. Children deserve to keep their innocence and when in the company of an adult, should have a safe space and not be in fear. I know all the facts have not come out, but enough have come out for me. Regardless of what Nate can do on the water, when I think of him from now on, he is nothing to me because what is at the core is rotten. Shame on him for what he did. And shame on me for idolizing him even after hearing about it. That stops now.

Tubers are a lot like snakes at your lake. Pick a spot on your deck and wait for them to show up. Once you kill a few of them, they won’t be able to repopulate and you should be go. If you let the brush and grass get too high, they will however start hiding in there and will pop up when you are not looking. I have found most tubers are not poisonous unless there tube is bright colored, at which point, proceed with care.

@Roger what you failed to realize is that Horton is not just dealing with a most perfect website, but also with thousands of entitled elite and not so elite skiers who would rather be on this site than about any other thing imaginable. Oh, and if it’s a choice between hanging with Buford or making the home button work, I am guessing he will be going with the latter....he know we are hooked on his water-god-drug-like-website known as ball of spray

I actually don’t think it is priced too high. Talked with the dealer and I could get a hell of a boat for under 110. Hell, when the new prostar came out a few years back we all complained about an 80k boat. Gents, prices are a rising and we need to deal with it and accept it as the new norm. Especially because other surf boats are pushing 200k. I think it is fantastic that boat companies are taking such a great interest and spending their r and d money on a sport that is not popular. I will stick with my prostar, but coming from a MasterCraft snob, that is one damn nice looking boat....and yes....I have a twinge of nautique envy right now.

 

All this typing is making me hungry. I am now going to take my 5 bucks and buy whatever lunch I want because i am such a big spender!

I consider snakes the same as jet skiers. Shoot first, bury and problem solved. BTW, does ski it again have a place to sell used jet skis? I have some I am needing to get rid of. They have snake skinned seats....pretty awesome

I should start a thread to see which baller has the best looking legs from the thigh down. Women included. Dave I think I may have you beat!!!

@BOS_Shirts you send the yoga gear and I will wear it proudly and post it as well. @A_B my ass looks fantastic in ANY wear.. I am told that all the time. Look at those damn legs!

 

So, I went out this morning and played golf—seeing as how it was a blustery rainy day, and I wore my baller hat. (See below). I went solo and was paired with a three some. While playing, one of the guys noticed my hat and starting asking about it. He asked if it was a golf brand, or a group of golfers, or what it meant. Me, being the absolute serious, non smart ass type of person, answered:

 

It doesn’t represen golf, but balls are involved—big red and green and white ones—but they are much bigger and when you make contact with them, it can definitely cause some pain. But we do keep score.

 

He had a perplexed look on his face, so I told him about waterskiing. He told me how much he loved skiing as a kid and then asked if he could buy a hat like mine. His reason: he said when he hits a golf ball it sprays all over and he wants to be called “ball of spray”

 

So I gave him my damn hat when the round was done.

 

Ball of Spray gear can now be sold in the golf world.

 

By the way, I need some new gear now!

 

 

 

@Tdub now that you have the “cute” toy out of your system and you are sticking with a truck, might I suggest a Ram 1500! A thourougly perfect vehicle and it has been proven that 7 out of 10 open or 55k rated users on this site prefer Ram as their vehicle of choice. Just sayin!

@"Mateo Vargas" that is the prettiest boat I have ever seen in my life. Reminds me of me...simple yet stunningly beautiful!!! That will be my next color scheme. Damn that is a pretty boat!! 500 upvotes to you. @Horton please take care and make that happen!

@usaski1 dude, I wouldn’t use the word “disabled” when referring to you or any other skier like Matt O. Pound for pound, you would kick the ass of most people on this site. I have seen some of your videos my friend and the only thing bigger than your heart is your balls!!! I am in awe when I see you ski and jump!!! And if truth be told, 95 percent of ALL skiers couldn’t hold a candle to you!

Just met a baller and his family in person tonight. I have to say, what a perfect evening. @Skoot1123 was in Utah skiing with his wife and kids this week, and we hooked up and met and had dinner. What a great great guy.....and an even nicer family!!! @Horton you done good brudda!! Not only do you have the best ski forum on planet Earth, but now you have a mixer/mingle site for a bunch of dudes with similar interests. And best part, my wife thought Scotty and his wife and kids were great!!! See wife, this is a great website where all the time spent is really productive and not a waste of time!!! I now have a friend for life whenever I head to Illinois, or whenever they head to the land of many wives!!! Side note, our 7 year olds hit it off great and my daughter has asked if she can FaceTime Scotts little girls only about 10 times.....

Yaah yaah yaah, I cant be the only guy on this site with size 14 feet! I can’t imagine the pros who are mid six feet tall don’t have that size of feet. @Garn you were supposed to keep our private time private!!!

Where the hell else on planet earth, can a bunch of people get answers to every question imaginable from not only the elite—the top pros—as well as industry prof ssionals and manufacturers/. I am blown away at this thread among about 1,009 more threads! I am seriously looking at the Omni this year. Now if only HO would make me a hard shell to fit my size 13-14 feet. @savaiusini ??? :)
