September is always the best on my lake but the weather has made this one great. HS kids are in fall sports and have homework. Might be a few idling pontoons, but mostly I have the lake to myself after work. I should probably call in sick the rest of the week...

The 06 ZR6 is having an idle issue. Boat starts right up and settles into appropriate idle. Going into gear no problem. The issue is into and out of gear when picking up skier or trying to get on the lift. Appropriate in gear RPM but when it goes back to neutral, it'll rev between 1000-1300 for a second or two. What do you guys think...throttle control position sensor or throttle body assembly or both? Thanks in advance.

I just brought home an 06 196 w/ a ZR6. What is involved for this boat?

My 89 Barefoot Nautique, which I bought new, has been to a mechanic once for a transmission issue. Carbs and points are easy, but honestly it's been a great boat and virtually trouble free. When I find the 196 w/theZR6, I'll have to learn something new.
