  1. I live about 40 min away from Hidden Pass and have been there as an observer for a Regionals tournament a few years ago but have never skied it. A friend of mine skis there regularly, Beautiful facility, the 2 owners have homes on the lake. It truly is a "hidden" gem in Penfield NY!

  2. I couldn't agree more, we made our 2nd (annual i hope) trip to Swiss in March. Clint is a great coach, and Swiss is an incredible venue.

Props as well for all the work they have done rebuilding the docks, the place looks and skis GREAT.

We also had a chance to sit in the boat and watch Thibaut ? (Pro french skier) skiing 39.5 off/36 it was insane!!!

  3. Awesome, a friend of mine is a member, I plan to ski until my arms fall off! The only other so cal skiing I have done was Mission Bay a few years ago....what an incredible facility! I don't know anyone at the Quarry or Canyon Lakes......

Thank you all for the input!

@bananaron‌ are you interested in that property? I can check it out for you if I have time?

  4. @colebrah, congrats on the coaching gig! Bummer, It looks like we will just miss you. last year we skied with Clint and Ty Oppenlander and truly had the time of our lives: great coaching, fantastic lakes and facilities and we bumped into Jonathon Travers at the grocery store buying beer and had a great photo op!

Totally stoked to go back in march......is it to late to start p90x? i dont think these 12oz curls are gonna get me in shape in time..... ;)

  5. Sorry @mattp.......I apparently have chronic fat finger disease, I took care of the inadvertent dislike.

Its pretty sad that the majority of my comments on this forum are apologies for inadvertent dislikes!!!

I will try to be more careful....it must happen when im scrolling on my phone

  6. Ok, so I own a 2011 Radar Vice with double Vector boots that I purchased from a local marina.......they installed the boots and I have loved the ski for 2 years now. However after reading some posts on this forum I decided to check all the specs on my ski: boot placement and fin specs as I have never done so. For the life of me I cannot find the info on Radars website or online when I google it! My son has a D3 X5 and I found the info easily on the D3 website. Can anyone steer me in the right direction to find the specs I need? Thank you!
  7. I am heading to my first ski school experience the first of april to Swiss in Clermont Fl, totally stoked but would love advice from some of you veterans:

I am planning to video our coached sets...is that common? Will the school/ coach mind?

we are skiing morning sets....any suggestions for apre' ski activities in the clermont/ orlando area?

I've seen posts about how to pack your ski which is very helpful, has anyone sent via UPS before? Does that make any sense?

any other advice or suggestions are appreciated

  8. Thank you @scotchipman, we are@ only a couple hundred feet from sea level here in Upstate NY so that isnt a concern, loads of torque with the 525. i am intrigued by the idea of some fuel savings with the 515. Will i have to re-calibrate my pp stargazer baseline if i change props?
  9. Hello, i am new here, been lurking for about 6 months and have become addicted to the site!

I have a 2007 Malibu rlxi with the 340hp monsoon, it came with a acme 525 prop (i bought it used, no idea if it was original)

My question is: I want to buy a spare prop, is the 525 the best way to go? I notice that the 515 is the stock prop for my boat, is there another prop you would recommend?

  10. Hello all, i am new here, been lurking for a couple of months but love the site! We ski in the Finger Lakes of Upstate NY and went 2 weeks ago when we had unseasonably warm weather, air 50, water 40....@hacker, sounds like you went out the same weekend......where did you ski? We skied canandaigua lake as we couldn't get in @ conesus due to low Water.

Coldest we ever skied was 3 years ago, air mid 40's and water 36......it was pretty rude on the hands and feet.....but totally worth it!

Also if any ballers find themselves in Upstate NY you can always get a tug on Conesus Lake!

    Cheers,
