  1. @JJR if there is a dealer nearby that has stealths maybe have a look at them? You can loosen the laces right off much like running shoes so that your foot can be put in reasonably effortlessly
  2. @JJR I've never seen fogmans but from what I've heard, the Stelaths are higher up the leg than fogmans and have a more solid bottom
  3. I've been using the Stealths since I recieved my 2013 prophecy (as soon as it was released). They are an excellent binding from my point of view. They are the only hardshell I've used so I don't have much to compare to. They are extremely comfortable and provide great support. I've had a few hard falls in which I would normally expect to be hurt in, although they relaeased perfectly and I didn't have any dramas. The only bad thing I can pick on them is that they are a bit of a pain to get on, although with some practice, they arent too bad.
  4. GPS steering? I know it wouldn't be cheap but for the really big events it could eliminate driver error and a lot of arguments. Tractors can be accurate within 2 cm so I dont see why boats cant be.
  5. @Brady thanks for your kind offer, if only i didn't live in Australia or at least didn't have University to keep me here. Oh well, I guess the fun will start when I'm out in the real world earning some money!
  6. What I would do to be a part of something like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbKtXbQS2PQ
  7. @Phil2360 thats a pretty bloody good design you've got there, thanks heaps for that! I think once it warms up a bit i might have to venture down to you and have a session, then I might be able to get a first hand look at it.
  8. @Phil2360 mine is push to accelerate so it'd be great to see what you've done! Is it very difficult to keep the throttle steady enough to keep PP engaged?
  9. @Intheday how do you think you will go about it?
  10. @MISkier the boat doesn't have PP and already has a foot throttle. By how that sounds it seems as though my best bet would be to install a hand throttle or just a new boat altogether.
  11. @GregHind it is a Raider Sports with a 350 vortec engine. I'm not sure if that'd mean anything to you, its an entry level ski boat made in Australia
  12. Hey just wondering if it is at all possible to rig perfect pass up with a foot throttle or is that a no goer?
  13. @ShaneH So essentially, the best strategy would be to work my way up to a shorter line at a slower speed, and then increase the speed? (my current pb is 5@22 off 34mph)
  14. @AB sorry if this sounds like a supid question as I'm only just getting into slalom but why is it that you never run 15 off?
  15. I've had one for a few months now with the stealths, can't find any majour faults. Compared to my mate's 2012, it feels a lot more stable in the turns, not sure how much the v's help cross course speed though. Too bad it's just about winter and I won't be back on the water until spring :(
  16. That site is the epitome of beauty
  17. I think you may aswell get the new bindings aswell as the new ski. I just bought a connelly prophecy with double stealths (coming off an F1X with RTP) and was skiing better than with my old ski after just 4 or 5 sets. Just my opintion BTW
  18. I don't like the chances of the gate buoys being able to stay in the same spot after the boat has gone through
  19. I finally got the chance to get out and give my Stealths a go. From my first experience (keep in mind i've never used double boots before) they are a bit of a pain to get into (having to be on the duck board) and when they released I had to take the bindings off, put them back on the ski and then put it all on again. Although, they are really comfortable once on and after a bit of getting used to them, I can see they have a lot of potential to improve my skiing. They released very easily when I had a decent stack. So as far as I can see, they are worth every penny. Saves spending $$$ at the hospital and missing out on time on the water.
