@wish the gps will work without a sim card, I have a 5S i use for that purpose as well.

I usually shoot at 120 fps so it goes straight to my phone's photo gallery, mostly for ease of use/sharing and can easily see dates and times. However that takes up a lot of unnecessary space, is there a way to get 60 fps videos to default to saving to the phone gallery instead of the wakeye app gallery?

As @thager said I think filling it with antifreeze over the winter keeps the corrosion down.

In @Stevie Boy 's defense, at :47 seconds Brooks appears to say "eench" which I believe is somewhere between a skosh and a titch but more than a smidgen.

@LoopSki this was filmed with a DJI Mavic Air 2 if this gives any perspective. Like @Kelvin says, the mini is slow, the pilot of the one below tells me it can go 40 mph.

I do about 4 sets a week, half behind a 197 and half behind a 2005 response, both with stargazer. With the gas tank 1/2 to 1/4 and just 1 person in the boat, I don't notice much difference at 22 off @ 34 mph.

You'll see a lot of hate on the forums for the 197's 22 off bump but if you can't get through 22 off behind the 197 its your skiing not the boat :)

I'll just echo the others, one of my ski partners has this same boat and the oil alarm is constantly going off, used to just be while idling. He says the guy he takes it to says its just the dash sensor and there's nothing actually wrong, he's decided to live with it I guess.

@6balls guessing that narrow lake makes it more impervious to wind? That sounds about as perfect as it gets!

I had it done about 10 years ago, I think the main thing is to wait a week for that flap to heal and make sure no water/bugs can get into the incision.

I too had my boat in before the snow this weekend, first time I've drained my block and blown out my heater with the boat in the water.

It's on the bucket list to go waterskiing in a blizzard, Easter would have been a great opportunity!

I like this question, my '04 PS197 has the MCX with the cable throttle and perfect pass. My partner's '09 PS197 has the MCX as well, but with ZO.

How long is the list of parts that are different and can they be sourced?

Will at least need cats with O2 sensors, throttle body, ECM and of course ZO. Is there a long list of parts beyond that?
