  1. I switched to a 2011 vice after skiing a HO EXTREME for 10+ years. First ride on it (all free skiing) blew me away. I LOVE it. Have never skied this well, and with ease.
  2. Took and set it up in rpm mode, was VERY happy with it. Much more simple like that. Thanks guys.
  3. Gekko gtr or true open bow with the gekko gto. Exact same hulls either way. I have a gekko gtr, and can't say enough how much I love it. Awesome slalom wakes, all fiberglass, and amazing tracking. Looked for months to find my exact boat but very happy I held out for the exact right one for my family. Just my 2 cents.
  4. Booth is a great little lake. Been on it skiing a few times. It's deep and VERY nice water. Yeah eagle springs has always been weedy, but this year I think they lost their weed cutter completely, cause its the worst ever.
  5. Thanks for all the info guys. I will do some playing around with it next time I am on the water. By hunting around I mean sometimes I will set it at 32.4mph, but then when I pull up the skier it will back me down to 29.something and hold me there for a bit and then I will come out of a turn and then maybe pull up to the 32. I am sure it is my settings and my inexperiance with the system. Why didn't they add one more butter on the gauge! So confusing to.navigate through it!
  6. XR6Hurricane, I was just free skiing on eagle spring lake tonight! It's a weed hole, but like you said always dead.
  7. Just wondering how I should set my perfect pass when I am just free skiing? Does slalom mode need to have the pick up magnets to keep itself on speed? I saw that the speed mode is only for 24mph or lower, but th manual also says if you highlight the speed it will use that instead of being rpm based? My gekko gtr came with it so its still NEW to me. I did print off the manual from perfect pass already and that has helped, but seems like the pp really hunts around a lot when I am out free skiing, even on long straight runs. Thanks in advance, Zach J.
  8. Thanks for all the info guys. Going to go check out the neosho course soon. It's awesome to be part of a group of people that love slalom, and not just HUGE wave makers for wake boarding and surfing!
  9. I am in east Troy WI, 30 min west of Milwaukee. Thanks.
  10. Looking to improve my skiing and get on a slalom course this summer. I have a 2006 gekko gtr and ride a radar vice but need a lake with a course or at least someone that knows more of what they are doing to tell me my bad habits. YouTube can only do so much for me. I am fine with joining a club or whatever I need to do. Any info would be awesome, thanks Zach J
