I've seen those little jet boats displayed at the Seattle Boatshow before, they have a co-pilot/navigator and there is a series of turns that the boat must follow for a timed "lap".  Kind of like autocross, where there is only one car on the track at a time.  They dig that course in a farmer's field, and then flood it for the weekend's races.  It's only about 2' deep.  The boat I saw was about 12' long, with a blown chev small block and a Berkley pump, and of course, a roll cage.

Man that thing looks fun. I still have most if the parts to put together a 706" pro mod motor. Wonder how much we could break up with that in one of those boats. Looks like as much fun as the old Jersey skiff we had growing up on the Cheasapeake

Russian dude + car door = Hospital OR Morgue.  Either way he get's what he deserves for endangering people that want no part of a large high velocity motorcycle on crowded public streets.  Take that kind of thing to the track.

 The boat racing however is sweet.  Everyone knows what they're getting in to.
