Baller webbdawg99 Posted May 4, 2011 Baller Share Posted May 4, 2011 Last week, one of the inserts for my rear binding on my A1 stripped out. I have been skiing with 3 of 4 screws in place. Today, I removed the rear animal boot to tighten down some screws on the bottom of it. When I went to remount it to the ski.....another insert stripped!! So now only 2 of 4 inserts for my rear binding are any good. What do I do?!?!? Buying a new ski is not an option!
Baller MAD11 Posted May 4, 2011 Baller Share Posted May 4, 2011 webdawg, Best to replace if you can get the old one out, but you can drill it the next size up on some inserts and tap it.

Baller_ RichardDoane Posted May 4, 2011 Baller_ Share Posted May 4, 2011 If you drill a 7/64 hole 1/8 of an inch either in front or back of the bad insert, there's brass there that you can tap and then use that hole by just redrilling your binding plate if necessary. It's very simple to do.
