Good news:

We new have a better text editor

The forum should be up 99.99% of the time now. 

We now have an HTML editor for anyone who knows how to use it. Love this 

Since I am now paying prime $ I now expect I will have really tech support.

Bad news

We still do not have private messages back... that is being worked on.

You may not care but banners are not working right yet

Mark all read is not back yet

I am sure something else that was in the old version is missing but I do not know what it is.

A few hours worth of posts were lost this morning.

So I'm using my iPhone. I can see the edit bar in gray scale but nothing seems to work. Even when I highlight the word and go back and tap Bold or any of them and nothing happens. Am I SOL with my phone?

I'm having big troubles logging in and staying logged in after the upgrade.  I have to turn all of my internet security off and turn off remember me.  Not just from one computer, but any computer.

I can only post a comment on certain posts.  It shows the option of "write a comment" but when I click on it, nothing happens.  Frustrating.

Other IPhone issues. Have to type super slow as it takes a second or two for the letter I type to pop up. Also throws me out of my phones web browser half way through what I'm writing and I have to start over. Causes??

that feature is not functioning at the moment. I guess you have to read everything on the site right now to make the little yellow things go away.

Well Shit! Sorry guys. With luck this will only take a few days to straighten out. Truth is that we have upgraded and any change always means a little trouble.

Logging in...I had to reset my password to get in.  Trying email instead of username didn't work.

I just made another change. With luck those that could log in but not post are now fixed.... or everyone is mad at me.

You can now log in with at Google "Gmail" account.

I will try out the Facebook and Twitter versions. Lets you just use the log in that you already have.

BONUS: These upgrades have removed the wacky caching behavior I was seeing on some computers, where I'd occasionally get a view that was hours old no matter how many times I refreshed.

I dropped the HTML editor because to blocked posting from my Android phone

I'm having 0 problems with the IPhone and posting now. When the HTML editor (which could not be used via IPhone) was present, posting was a HUGE pain. All kinds of wacky stuff like my typing was 5 letters ahead of letters appearing on screen, being thrown completely out of the Sifari web browser and sent to my home screen, and the posting window was a mile long. Had to scroll down and down and down and down just to get to the "post comment" box. And that only worked some of the time. No issues now. Thanks JTH.

I asked for it and the dev team said it is too buggy. What I have done is gone to a pro account. It cost more (was ZERO) and now they make sure the site does not go down. We have lost some little stuff but a pro is in charge now. better.

Tell your pros they still have work. IE still won't let me log in or post from any computer. I can only use Chrome.

I can't log in from my iPad or from a Mac with Safari on it. I have tried my user name, email address and unchecking the stay logged in option.

@Chef23 I have not had any problems with any of those devices. I would say it is not the device but rather the log in system I would say. Thats @Horton s area.

I think that some of the OBs have really old accounts that may contain conflicts. I am not going to tweak your account without your OK but it is easy.

I'm unable to log in with my Mac using Safari. Works fine in chrome, but I'd like to use Safari if at all possible. This is my favorite site and about the only one I go to now - even before email.

@jipster43 What version of Safari are you using and which OS? Have you tried "Reset Safari" and/or "Empty Cache"?

I tried emptying the cache, history etc on my iPad and I could log in using my email address if I didn't click stay logged in. I haven't tried the Mac.

No it looks like there may be a real issue that the Vanilla Team needs to fix. I am now paying real money for support .....
