Makayla took a heck of jump crash yesterday at Bell Acqua. Haven't heard the outcome of medical tests they were conducting last night. Will check in with her Dad later today. Thoughts and prayers to her and her family. Hadn't seen any tweets about it, so don't know if many know about it yet. She's a tough kid, so hopefully just will be sore and not injured.

They are keeping up on Facebook. Hard to tell via Facebook but they do not seem super stressed.

Heard she was ok, no injury reported, staying in the hospital for a bit to be 100% sure.

It seemed like when we got her out of the water, she was going to be OK, just super sore for awhile. I didn't see her actually land because I was already off the dock when she came off the ramp way forward and one of her skis behind her. Was told afterwards that they thought she landed on one of her skis that had come off. Had to take the other one off in the water. From what she said, a sore neck and back are guaranteed. Hope there are no other injuries.

I saw her take off, rotate, land, bounce. She landed on her left side and back. Looked like she'd be OK (relatively), but I think her head and neck took quite a shot.

She was talking in the water, telling us what hurt and answering the questions correctly. She could move everything OK, just seemed to me to be a good knock to the head/neck & back. Hopefully that is it.
