The basic joy of skiing... generally lost of those who chase balls

I love this video- reminds me that just 2 summers ago before I found buoys and a guy with a RLXI my main pull was a bass tracker deck boat. When my dad (who is 66) skis he likes me to lengthen the rope and make the wake bigger so he can rest behind the boat "where it's smooth"

I still have love for the basic joy of skiing, and sharing the time in and behind the boat w/other skiers. At the end of the day...I enjoy that far more than practice or tourney PB's. Time in or behind the boat is my little escape from the pressures of life (in my case, self-induced). Having said that...I really want to run 38 w/regularity!!

I typically never "free ski" because it's the challenge of the buoys that motivates me, but once in a while for a change you gotta "shake it up" a bit, and do something a little different. 30 mph is a fun speed, and a "wide ride" ski makes it really comfortable. Radar P6 is the weapon of choice.
