Baller TNh2oskier Posted December 6, 2011 Baller Posted December 6, 2011 What does everyone keep there ski in when its not being ski'd on? Any thoughts on the neo sleeves?
Baller 6balls Posted December 6, 2011 Baller Posted December 6, 2011 Padded bag w/shoulder strap...I find the shoulder strap key as I might be carrying other things out to the boat such as 5 gallon cans etc. DAVE
Baller Ed_Obermeier Posted December 6, 2011 Baller Posted December 6, 2011 Padded bag. Always (when not in use).
Baller rq0013 Posted December 6, 2011 Baller Posted December 6, 2011 I like the obrien travel bags because you can fit everything into it
Baller_ lpskier Posted December 6, 2011 Baller_ Posted December 6, 2011 Ski tog around the dock and Masterline one event roller for the road. Lpskier
Baller GAJ0004 Posted December 6, 2011 Baller Posted December 6, 2011 When I am skiing at home all of my family's skis hang parallel to the ground, upside down on especially made padded ski racks on my boat garage wall. I use a travel bag when I take the ski on the road, and when I put it away for the winter. My friends call it the "pro shop".
Baller A_B Posted December 6, 2011 Baller Posted December 6, 2011 Padded bag with open top to vent, upside down or laying on a side.
Baller Chuck_Dickey Posted December 6, 2011 Baller Posted December 6, 2011 I use the neo sleeve around the dock I use the neo sleeve in a slalom bag when traveling in the truck I use the neo sleeve and a hard case when traveling Air Always with a fin protector from PerfSki
Baller_ Jody_Seal Posted December 6, 2011 Baller_ Posted December 6, 2011 Old Ski Nautique slalom bag (Classic) and a Fin-a-ma-Jig and the Side pocket of a 2011 Ski Nautique! Now that's an expensive Ski Bag! Travel with a Sport tube hard case and beach towels.
Baller_ The_MS Posted December 6, 2011 Baller_ Posted December 6, 2011 Ski Sock at all times. Out of the sun and out of reach of Horton.
Baller Chef23 Posted December 6, 2011 Baller Posted December 6, 2011 I keep it in a ski bag. I keep the ski in the shed and need to carry it down to the boat and having it in the bag makes it easier.
Baller_ Wish Posted December 6, 2011 Baller_ Posted December 6, 2011 Noe sock around dock and short road travel. Sport tube for airline travel.
Nick Sullivan Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 I need to see some pictures of what you guys are calling these tubes for airline travel. I need to get this figured out soon.
Baller_ The_MS Posted December 9, 2011 Baller_ Posted December 9, 2011 @Brent I sold that ski and got a new one. I had the ski locked up and was feeling good about it knowing that Horton did not have access to the ski.
KM Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 I bought an Eagle Neoprene Ski Sock with built in fin guard. Problem with it was the fin protector had no drainage and the neoprene is not breathable, so if you put your ski away a little damp the water stays in contact with the ski. Sort of makes a humid environment for the ski tail. Faded the graphics and the black paint peeled away at the tail of my Goode Nano Twist.
Administrators Horton Posted December 10, 2011 Administrators Posted December 10, 2011 @MS you sold the signature ski? Hope you got top $. I will sign you new one eventually. Baller TNh2oskier Posted December 11, 2011 Author Baller Posted December 11, 2011 I was thinking about an eagle neo sock, but was unsure, especially with the cost being almost $100.00, glad I hesitated.
Baller thager Posted December 11, 2011 Baller Posted December 11, 2011 I keep mine in a ski sock provided by Mrs. MS's mom and in a hardened padded ski case for the winter and traveling. Ski always has the "original design" HDPE plastic fin protector on it especially if MS's dog Nautique is on the dock!!
