Members Tidbury
How much of a difference does 1" make on a ski? I found a 68" Connelly Prophecy for a price that I couldn't pass up. Looking at all of the charts I should really be on a 67" (160 lbs usually ski between 32 and 34 MPH).
Baller_ Wish Posted December 8, 2011 Baller_ Share Posted December 8, 2011 IMHO you should be fine at that speed and actually enjoy the ski. Worst case you toss it up on ski-it-again.com and sell it for as much if not more. Placing the fin and boot system in the right place will also help a great deal in making the ski operate well for being slightly larger.
Baller ral Posted December 9, 2011 Baller Share Posted December 9, 2011 If between 32 and 34 MPH @ 15 off, 68" will be better than 67" for you.
