Who has built a house on SMRR?

My wife is getting excite about building a house at SMRR now that I might be moving to take a job in Cibilo near SA.

 

I was wondering if there was anyone on here that has already built a house there that I could discuss the process with. I wish they had just build the model home on the lake so I could live there!

Poor guy won't have anyone to ski with anymore, I estimate that me and my wife used 40% of boat time this summer! There won't ever be anyone there.

 

Edit: My wife thinks it was maybe closer to 70-80% of all boat use was us and our guests, yikes!

Anyway you can use your own builder and we have several contractors that build boat docks.

Here's a link to the builder (Colby Nordstrom) of the model out there. He also built two others, including the developer's home, and is building a fourth now. He's a solid guy and an excellent builder. And, he's a skier.

Having a builder who is a skier could be a positive... or a negative.

 

Positive. Always at the lake. Easy to keep and eye on subs.

Negative. Dang the water's sweet. Lets shut'er down and ski!
