Baller_ Wish Posted February 15, 2012 Baller_ Share Posted February 15, 2012 Anyone ever ski one of these? I know it's old. Would this make a good ski for a 12yr old light skier (64")?. Looking for comments on stability, ease of use or not. Thanks While looking up the picture of the ski I found something else Duvall. Ooooooof. http://static.cl1.vanilladev.com/ballofspray.vanillaforums.com/uploads/FileUpload/be/93541cb98b585fc823a17288fda31f.jpghttp://static.cl1.vanilladev.com/ballofspray.vanillaforums.com/uploads/FileUpload/b9/05801691db48be2037f17a74037da9.jpg
Baller_ Jody_Seal Posted February 15, 2012 Baller_ Share Posted February 15, 2012 I all way's liked that Duvall model! The lines were sleek. Soft in the tail rocker! and the tip profile was phenomenal.

Baller_ Bruce_Butterfield Posted February 17, 2012 Baller_ Share Posted February 17, 2012 The Duvall skis were built in the Kidder factory and have many of the traditional Denny Kidder traits. Its probably an excellent choice for a skier under 110 lbs or so. As always, the only way to know is to try it. If it was easy, they would call it Wakeboarding

Baller lundberg Posted February 17, 2012 Baller Share Posted February 17, 2012 I skied on a Duvall 950s for a long time. When I had it set up right it skied great but did seem to take a lot of effort compared to the S1 that I'm on now.

Dusty
I had the gray/black Duvall (Model??) for a season- very smooth and turned well. I weighed almost 220 then- Comination of that and too much sun maybe softened it up a lot in a single season. Got to be way too much work to get anywheres. I bet that ksi would work great for a lighter weight skier.
