Baller_ The_MS Posted April 24, 2013 Baller_ Share Posted April 24, 2013 @Horton, @AB is getting so much rain that you could grab water from his overflow and have pre-dyed water for your lake. Same in Minn, our lake is flowing out the end and we have more rain coming tonight. I am glad we didn't dye it this spring. I am going to wait until the flow stops before I dump the Karmex in. Baller A_B Posted April 24, 2013 Author Baller Share Posted April 24, 2013 @MS, we haven't dyed ours yet either, but it is still pretty blue from last year. 2 weeks ago our water was right where we like it! The county doesn't clean our ditches anymore, so we have no where to put the overflow. It's a great deal for all those Michigan lakes, come on down with a convoy of tanker trucks. Just leave the bass and Amurs.
Baller eleeski Posted April 24, 2013 Baller Share Posted April 24, 2013 That's just not right! Socal is in the fourth driest year on record. Can you pump it into the Colorado river for us? Eric
Baller colo_skier Posted April 24, 2013 Baller Share Posted April 24, 2013 Those of us on water restrictions in Colorado may hijack the water before it gets to the Colorado River. East side versus west side of Colorado:)
Baller eleeski Posted April 25, 2013 Baller Share Posted April 25, 2013 IID is the first and oldest user of the Colorado river. Our water rights are dominant. @Colo_skier water wars here on BOS! And I want the dye too! Eric
Baller MrJones Posted April 25, 2013 Baller Share Posted April 25, 2013 Agreed! Dyed the lake with the new Sensient powder Saturday. 3 jugs did a great job. Had a downpour yesterday morning and I'm feeling the pain watching it roll out the overflow. I am going to wait a month or so before dropping in the other jug. Baller BlueSki Posted April 25, 2013 Baller Share Posted April 25, 2013 We are excited about the rain in S. Ohio. The lake is at a good Jul./Aug. level now, but having a bit more to get us through the dry months would not hurt. @AB, Start sending it downstate.
