Baller eyepeeler Posted June 3, 2013 Baller Share Posted June 3, 2013 Anybody have the product number of the flexible bottom coating on Goode skis. I think it is a 3M product. I had it written down but can't find it.
Baller ForrestGump Posted June 3, 2013 Baller Share Posted June 3, 2013 It's SEM bumper coater. Can be found at a lot of auto parts store. Or through Eastwood. http://www.eastwood.com/sem-flexible-bumper-coating.html?srccode=ga220010&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=zzproduct_ads&adtype=pla&kw=&matchtype=&network=g&creativeid=15752127567&placement=&producttargetid=40408680567&gclid=CPbbzMr6yLcCFVIV7AoddTQArA

Baller SkiJay Posted June 4, 2013 Baller Share Posted June 4, 2013 This the actual final coat that Goode uses on the bottom of their skis?
Baller ForrestGump Posted June 4, 2013 Baller Share Posted June 4, 2013 This is the replacement product(they changed the name from SEM bumper and trim black to SEM Bumper Coater)for what was originally used up until the current skis with the graphic top and bottom sheet. It gives a satin sheen with a texture. I had called Goode back in 07 about an issue on a 9700 and the tech told I could send it to them to be fixed or to go and pick this up as it's what they used. Baller_ Wish Posted June 4, 2013 Baller_ Share Posted June 4, 2013 @ShaneH speaks the truth. I found a can at the local auto shop, painted two different skies and it looks identical to what was on the Goodes. 9700 9800SL
Baller SkiJay Posted June 4, 2013 Baller Share Posted June 4, 2013 Thanks @ShaneH, @Wish & @eyepeeler. The tail of the Nano One is sprayed with something fitting this description, and my ski has blown what looks like a small chunk of bondo off one side of the fin slot. It's an easy enough fix but I was wondering how to match the "paint." I never thought to ask on BOS, or simply to just ask Goode, duh...
