  1. yep same here as @aspski , our site froze today.... pulled our course/docks last Saturday. This freezeup is about 2-3 weeks earlier than normal. - bummed....
  2. mine are individually anchored, we just drove down the lake with the regular turning buoy on the other side of the boat, and dropped them in on the inside. So they end up a little more than the width of the boat narrow. Seems to work pretty well for our kids. Absolutely NOT super accurate.
  3. @Justin_C I do almost exactly the same thing. I used pulleys for a while but they do corrode as you mention. I found that a stainless steel o-ring in place of the pulley worked well for me (find them on sale sometimes). There is a little more friction than the pulley but i found they let the buoy slide enough. You might need just a little more weight and/or a little more air in the buoys. Anyway just thought I'd pass it along.
  4. just had a set - yes.... cold.... 34.9F (about 2C) and we skied in the rain (at least it wasn't snowing) (Brandon Manitoba Canada) September 25, 2018 around 6PM, Air was about 54F (12C) hehehe, is there a goal to this thread? Slalom course is still in - skiing again on Thursday - free rides welcome - come for a visit!
  5. summer of 2016 at the lake... nasty storm!
  6. if it was my boat she would definitely be my baby... so the options might be: "junior" "john junior" "JJ" -very easy to type and quick to say! but "she" is sure pretty Jane Junior?
  7. 2014 HO A3, 68” in very good condition (pretty much new condition). Used only about a dozen times. Front left Apex boot size 10-11 and rear toe plate. Comes with bag. would sell blank as well $800 obo, share shipping in Canada - ski is in Brandon Manitoba
  8. @skierjp And here I thought my Achilles scar was bad - you win.... Speedy recovery @Gloersen !
  9. not completely on topic but this towel was in our new at the time 1997 PS190. I'm feeling old by posting this but apparently (according to the survey) I fit right in with the site demographics  oh, and it is likely time for a boat upgrade!
  10. I'm 5 weeks post-op, full thickness rotator cuff tear. Physio is going good - plan to be back on the water in the Canadian spring - whenever that finally gets here. Skied all summer with the tear. Had one of my best summers ever (maybe not scores, but sure was fun!) good luck everyone with their surgeries and healing!
  11. @Greg Banish what is the version number of the new stick you got? pretty sure mine is at 9.1 or 9.01.... one of those. Just curious.
  12. I WAS a real skier - and then I found the slalom course.... haven't felt that way since  I think that was about 17 years ago. where is that thread about the slalom course making you humble???
