Great tournament format at the Mastercraft Pro Shootout

I totally enjoyed following the tournament today with a little different format. In the first round, the top two men and top two women scores got a place in the finals. During the second round, the top four men got a place in the final eight along with the top two women into the final six. Friday morning, two more skiers in both men's and women's get a "last chance" to make it to the finals. I wonder if there are any disadvantages to getting into the finals after the first round. You'll only ski once while others in the finals will have skied one or two more times. might help with site familiarization.

@jcamp those who got in first round will be well rested. Lets remember they are pros and could probably ride a 2x4 in the ocean and make it look easy. I don't think a round less of skiing is a disadvantage.
