SpartanSki
Does anyone have a good overhead shot of someone running a course? My 4yo son wants a ski themed cake for his birthday party and I don't have a good photo to give the baker as a reference. It would be easy enough to sketch something but if someone has a pic like this but bigger, that would be awesome.

ToddF
one of the coolest ski pictures ever, not sure how it would work on a cake though http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQdD2A40ACcUkZKljnEeqMU5brUTN63xCDZig2GHFzZaMbROzuDxg
SpartanSki
@richarddoane, my son's not old enough for Kilo Kai yet, so that might not work. @ToddF, I actually have a print of that framed above my bar, Bill does amazing work.

Baller Waternut Posted August 14, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 14, 2013 Zoom in on Google maps for the aerial photography. Trophy Lakes, Marlin Road, Johns Island, SC has a good one. Look at the lower lake and there is someone rounding 3 ball. Searched it last year and thought it fairly random and cool.
danspence
My mother knew a woman who bakes cakes and she had this one made for my 21st. Doesn't really help with the photo but still a pretty cool cake.
popof
Maybe it's too late now, but if it's still time you may go to this guy's amazing videos https://vimeo.com/user10905441 (amazing job @rwskier !) and capture any view, he has tons and tons of them! I guess @rwskier gets his pics from a quadricopter with a gopro or something like this? Anyways, amazing results. Maybe ask for his permission first, but i'm guessing a cake for your son is not a big threat copyright-wise? ;) ++
