Baller Murrski Posted December 9, 2013 Baller Share Posted December 9, 2013 @allycat - check out this BallofSpray thread about gloves. Personally I use the D3 Enzo gloves and really like the grip as well as the palm protection to prevent calluses. http://www.ballofspray.com/forum#/discussion/comment/146017
Baller XR6Hurricane Posted December 9, 2013 Baller Share Posted December 9, 2013 I'm a free skier and use Accurate World Cup 3/4's. My old kevlar gloves almost wrecked my hands during a week of summer vacation this year and the World Cups saved the week.
Baller ral Posted December 9, 2013 Baller Share Posted December 9, 2013 @ozski is there, he can probably advice and fix you up.
Baller oldjeep Posted December 9, 2013 Baller Share Posted December 9, 2013 Accurate World Cup 3/4's are the only ones I've tried that I can stand as well. They have a little more padding and don't wad up in your palm the way that the thin gloves that my FIL favors do. The 3/4 are important because the fingers are never long enough for me in a set of full gloves.
allycat
thanks for the replies i will go to the local shops and see if they have any gloves ? and try a few on have never used them before skiing.
Baller Zman Posted December 10, 2013 Baller Share Posted December 10, 2013 What @XR6Hurricane and @oldjeep said. I use the full finger version. Fit great, they last, grip well and the padding protects your hands. These are just what you need and the price is great.

Baller Bill22 Posted December 10, 2013 Baller Share Posted December 10, 2013 2nd what @XR6Hurricane, @oldjeep & Zman said. I mostly free ski and have been using the Accurate World Cup 3/4 for 5 seasons now. They work great. I am going to get a new pair of something full finger this year. Only because my hand is a little big for the large and it takes some time to get them off.

Baller jipster43 Posted December 10, 2013 Baller Share Posted December 10, 2013 I spent a lot of money trying to replace my old HO Talons. I finally tried the RADAR Boa's and love them.
Chuck_Dickey
@MattP Ya, I saw it's off his website but was still on the bumper sticker I got with my last order. Regardless, his are the best IMHO
Baller MattP Posted December 11, 2013 Baller Share Posted December 11, 2013 @Chuck_Dickey I agree.
Baller A_B Posted December 11, 2013 Baller Share Posted December 11, 2013 Chuck and Matt, how does the sizing run on them? I use XXL and I thought last time I looked, he only had L. Do they run to size or am I "the rest"?
Baller MattP Posted December 11, 2013 Baller Share Posted December 11, 2013 @AB I always size down my goes to insure that they remain tight and don't bunch when skiing or stretch too much over time. I am barley able to squeeze into a Small when they are dry. Email Clint and tell him what size and brand you are using now and he can make a suggestion as to what size. That is what I did when I first made the switch.

Baller A_B Posted December 11, 2013 Baller Share Posted December 11, 2013 But dropping from XXL to L might be a real squeeze. I bought a L Radar Locks and couldn't get my hand in it. Gave to my daughter to use.
Baller A_B Posted December 11, 2013 Baller Share Posted December 11, 2013 the new HO glove looks like a departure from standard amara, and I am waiting to hear what anyone has to say about them. Bring back the Motoglove!
Nick Sullivan
Radar Storm Waterski Glove from Overtons sure looks a lot like the ProGear glove and for less. I like these gloves and just ordered 3 more sets.
Baller Bill22 Posted December 14, 2013 Baller Share Posted December 14, 2013 I went with the HO 41 Tail after reading in other post how much ballers like old HO gloves and 41s. I had to send them back, the L was too small. The fingers were a little snug on the length but the thumb was just too tight. I hope the XL will not be too BIG? A friend also got the Storms from H2O proshop for $25. The price was hard to pass up. But I read they are a thinner glove so I stuck with the 41s. Baller A_B Posted December 14, 2013 Baller Share Posted December 14, 2013 My only wish for Christmas is that someone makes a pair of gloves that are tacky like the old Motoglove from Hyperlite. Well, one of my only wishes...
