Baller kfennell Posted April 22, 2014 Baller Share Posted April 22, 2014 Someone (not me) drove my boat into the dock while it was on the lift and it swung up and into the bottom of the dock putting a 1/4" hole through the fiberglass right above the rub rail. I would rather fix it myself mostly so that the boat isn't out of service for a week. Can I just bondo it then cover with a gel coat repair kit? or is there a kit for this? It is in a plain white area so it should be easy to get the colors close. Suggestions?
uflbret
You don't want to use Bondo. A pic of the damage would help. For a hole that size you should be able to get away with just an epoxy fix. Did the gel spider around the hole?
