Baller schafer Posted May 8, 2014 Baller Share Posted May 8, 2014 Out on the water for the second time tonight in Central Alberta. I felt like the ice was never gonna melt. Drysuit feels bulky as per usual, but get to be chasing buoys again. Who else has a late start this year? Water was about 45 F and air about the same. Water is nice and fast at least. Baller giantjoe Posted May 8, 2014 Baller Share Posted May 8, 2014 I went dirt biking in Kanananskis last night and there was still a foot of snow in the mountains. Lake Chestermere finally looks high enough to launch something in, but the ramps are still blocked off. Long winter..
Baller Bulldog Posted May 8, 2014 Baller Share Posted May 8, 2014 The entire spring here in Alberta has been very depressing! One month until our annual trip to BC to put a ton of hours on the boat. "Do Better..."

Baller giantjoe Posted May 13, 2014 Baller Share Posted May 13, 2014 Chestermere Lake removed the barricades from the launch over the weekend. I'll be skiing in a reservoir in southern Alberta this weekend coming up...
