Baller skibug Posted July 5, 2014 Baller Share Posted July 5, 2014 Was skiing this morning. We had each taken 2 sets. I just set down on the second to last pass of my third set and the boat would not restart. The soft key on the panel turns the boat over continually; but, it won't fire up, just keeps turning over and it won't stop unless you hit the overall power button to kill the power. With the power button on, meaning the panel is on, and using the manual back up key switch; it does the same thing. When the key switch is returned to off; it continues to turn over, but no firing. With the power on and the panel disconnected, the manual switch will turn the boat over and it will continue trying to start until the key is returned to the off position. Additional information. Check fuse board under cockpit and there is a little blinking red light. Check all the fuses, they seem to be good. Is this a bad board? Any ideas? Baller Chuck_Dickey Posted July 6, 2014 Baller Share Posted July 6, 2014 Are you sure the kills with with the lanyard hasn't been dislodged ? Newer boats the touch of the key and it cranks until it fires up, so if the kill switch has been bumped it will continually crank and not fire. Chad_Scott Posted July 7, 2014 Share Posted July 7, 2014 There is a 30 amp fuse in the breaker box on the back of the engine. The fuse is silver with a little black reset button on top of it. The reset button goes bad when it gets not. Take it out and put a Normal glass fuse in it. It will be fine Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
