sb_dc_mbs_13
Hey All, Our collegiate team's 73" jumpers just broke this afternoon while letting another team use them. Unfortunate situation, but we are trying to find another pair in time for the Conference tournament next weekend. Anyone have any for sale or have any good leads? Much appreciated. Baller Ilivetoski Posted September 15, 2014 Baller Share Posted September 15, 2014 I was there, the guy crossed the skis on the ramp (a girl in KY broke her femur doing this the first time she jumped. When I saw the guy go off the ramp I just thought "something is about to break"). Then a few guys on my team made comments of "those are borrowed" and "oh! yeah they are taking a beating!" well yeah... The top is completely separated from the core of the ski and completely flexible.

Baller MattP Posted September 15, 2014 Baller Share Posted September 15, 2014 I would advise not buying skis over 88". Y'all need soemthing in the 84"-86" range. Espically if they are team skis that will be worked hard. The longer the skis the harder they will be to control. Ron makes great team skis that y'all could get for next season but in shuch a short time frame I would say ask some local skiers or see if any team members have old skis y'all can use for the week. Also check with sprayitforwards.org and see if thy have any in stock.
Baller Razorskier1 Posted September 15, 2014 Baller Share Posted September 15, 2014 Rely on the generosity of strangers (or friends). Other teams at the tournament may let you use their team skis at conference.
