Baller ToddL Posted October 9, 2014 Baller Share Posted October 9, 2014 I am switching from a Wiley trick wrap to Reflex for my trick binding. I tried to position it such that the ankle bone position was consistent. However, I feel like I am just always on my heal. With the Wiley trick wrap, I didn't have to consciously be on my toes. I just was. With the Reflex, I have to really focus on being on my toes, a lot. Is this normal? Anyone go through this with a similar switch? Any tips? Baller eleeski Posted October 9, 2014 Baller Share Posted October 9, 2014 Lisa switched from rubber to Radar boots on her slalom ski. It was a difficult transition until she moved her bindings forward 3cm (1"). Kirk ran his hardshell for his hand trick ski forward 2cm for a while. Note that liner thickness and fit can make huge differences in foot placement. Be willing to make large movements to find what works best for you.
