Baller wtrskior Posted October 13, 2014 Baller Share Posted October 13, 2014 Pounding my head against the wall, trying to decide what ski to get. I have difficulty demoing skis so need to rely on recommendations and baseline tests from what I've ridden in the past. I'm currently on a coefficient SL 67. Lasy year I rode and A2 66.5 And took a 1/2 dozen sets late last year on a vapor. I like the coefx but feel its a bit too much work and rolls over a bit too far. What I like about it is how stable and easy to ride it is. In comparison I felt the vapor was more on a train track, easy to ride, less effort but also easy to get lean locked and harder to initiate turns or hammer down when in trouble. Is there a ski that people might feel is a happy medium between these 2? 4@35 is my pb at 34mph Some im considering: Prophecy, S2, A3, quest, mapple 6.0. On a budget so looking for closeouts or lightly used skis. Should i give the vapor another crack? Any other suggestions? .
