Baller RazorRoss3 Posted October 15, 2014 Baller Share Posted October 15, 2014 Well, it turns out that just like @razorskier1, my baller tag is now a misnomer. I have recently picked up his Mapple 6.0 after he switched to the T2 and now find myself with a 2 Seasons used 2012 68" Razor 2 A flex in great great condition and because the nostalgia has worn off I'm also selling my 2009 67" O'Brien Elite with 4 seasons on it. Feel free to message me about either of them, prices negotiable. http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?topic=Search&category=Slalom&postid=30310 http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?topic=Search&category=Slalom&postid=30309
Baller Drago Posted October 16, 2014 Baller Share Posted October 16, 2014 By looking at another post, I would never buy a ski that has been near @Razorskier1 . He skis more sets per week than I do in a season.seriously. :o
Baller thager Posted October 16, 2014 Baller Share Posted October 16, 2014 I skied on a 2007 Fisher #01 I got from Razorskier1 in 2011 or so. Was a great ski. Still ski it occasionally. Can't have more than 6000 passes on it. Just getting broken in!
Baller RazorRoss3 Posted October 16, 2014 Author Baller Share Posted October 16, 2014 @razorskier1 skis more passes per set and sets per season than any other skier I have met. During the Summer when I'm home I usually match the set count but in pass count I still can't keep up with the old man, and I'm 21, wasn't I supposed to pass him up 5-6 years ago? Both of the skis are still in excellent condition, I'm just a little OCD about my skis (like everyone else on this site) to the point where a member of the Iowa ski team was taking it out of my car at a tourny and said "don't worry, I won't harm the precious". Baller Razorskier1 Posted October 16, 2014 Baller Share Posted October 16, 2014 Mitch's skis have fewer sets than mine. Both skis are at my house if anyone wants more pictures let me know.
Baller 6balls Posted October 16, 2014 Baller Share Posted October 16, 2014 That Razor2 is RTM constructed as well...should have a boatload of original flex characteristics at this point. Great ski...will ride mine for another couple of seasons.
Baller Brady Posted October 16, 2014 Baller Share Posted October 16, 2014 @RazorRoss3 Thanks for sending me over a video of you before your last tournament. I am very excited to meet you......with that said, I NEVER want to handle your precious!!!
Baller RazorRoss3 Posted October 17, 2014 Author Baller Share Posted October 17, 2014 @Brady, you may have me confused for someone else, I haven't had video taken of my skiing since the spring with the exception of last weekend. Not wanting to handle my precious doesn't exclude you from the razor, only the elite was ever called that if its semantics you're worried about. As @6balls says, the razor skis today the same as it did 2 seasons ago and it has 2 gold medals at the Great Plains conference championships under its belt, great ski. The elite has won itself a few medals as well.
Baller 6balls Posted October 17, 2014 Baller Share Posted October 17, 2014 Dude it's a joke...he means the video he posted above.
Baller thager Posted October 17, 2014 Baller Share Posted October 17, 2014 The Razor2 is a great ski as was the Fisher #01 and the mold that the 2 came from. RTM construction makes it almost bullet proof. Based on the Goode 9400 I think with inserts. Horton's review on the 68A Razor 3 was not so good, so don't confuse them. RazorRoss3s ski is a lot of stable performance into very short line if needed for not so much cash and it will outlast the skier.
Baller RazorRoss3 Posted October 17, 2014 Author Baller Share Posted October 17, 2014 In my defense I was really tired when I saw that last night. @thager is right, the ski will last for a very long time.
Baller Brady Posted October 17, 2014 Baller Share Posted October 17, 2014 @RazorRoss3 You do not need any defense. You are a stud and I was giving you some ribbing. With how long your winters are, I only hope you don't look like Gollum however!!!
Baller A_B Posted October 17, 2014 Baller Share Posted October 17, 2014 @Brady should ski on a Warp(ed).
Baller Brady Posted October 17, 2014 Baller Share Posted October 17, 2014 @AB do you have good bindings I can attach to your gut? Also, how flexible are you coming out of the turns? Finally, does a year supply of tony pacos come with skiing on you?

Baller thager Posted October 19, 2014 Baller Share Posted October 19, 2014 @RazorRoss3 Keg is a shape. Is there a better keg that you like?
Baller RazorRoss3 Posted October 19, 2014 Author Baller Share Posted October 19, 2014 there's nothing wrong with keg shaped, my liking of other kegs definitely doesn't help me with staying in ski shake over the winter though. Between the ski team alumni tailgate nov 1 and the sit in social nov 8 I might have some catching up to do.
Baller Razorskier1 Posted October 19, 2014 Baller Share Posted October 19, 2014 @RazorRoss3 has cut down to under 180 for the first time probably since he was in high school. He no longer looks like a "keg with legs".
Baller RazorRoss3 Posted October 19, 2014 Author Baller Share Posted October 19, 2014 The strange part of that is that from last March to now I've cut 7 pounds and somehow gained strength at the same time. Planning on maintaining a little under 180 through the winter and maybe turning the bench press 400 club Tshirt into a 500 club. Only 35lbs short as of August. Baller 6balls Posted October 19, 2014 Baller Share Posted October 19, 2014 Just go set a record already...you could compete down in the 182 lb class (thus not replacing my record in the 198's!!) Start in on some creatine and 500 will fall for you this winter. I wanna be there. Somehow this became a weight lifting thread instead of selling skis...so back on track the Razor2-A68 is a mean ski...someone should buy it. Baller RazorRoss3 Posted December 9, 2014 Author Baller Share Posted December 9, 2014 Both skis prices have been reduced and are negotiable. The Elite is listed at $250 and the Razor 2 at $550. Take a look at the skis and feel free to shoot me a PM or email if you want more pictures or would like to talk price. Mitch
