When do you try out a new ski?

I chose fall cause I am normally most consistent, my water temp in the cold Columbia is the warmest. Just seems how it all lines up. I however will be skiing the same ski a second year in a row. CAUSE IT FLAT OUT WORKS FOR ME ....... most of the time?

Any time of year. A few sets won't screw me up any worse than I already am.

When the opportunity arises. My first real stick I got in the spring, my elite came to me in July I think, I started on my Razor in August of 2012, and I switched toy current mapple 6.0 this October.

I think you want to be skiing well when you make the change. I made a switch this spring (and got rid of my old ski) and it was a mistake to do that. I like to try new skis when I have the opportunity but I think it is important to be skiing to your usual level when you try a new ski.
