Baller Stevie Boy Posted November 1, 2014 Baller Posted November 1, 2014 I was at the over 35 worlds and they were doing free demos, the people I spoke to, who had a demo on it, did not seem to be over excited about it, but one set, on a different/new ski, is not really going to give you a fair go, a couple of people said they equaled what they were doing on there current ski.
Administrators Horton Posted November 2, 2014 Administrators Posted November 2, 2014 There are just not many out there. I say it is a wise that HO is waiting to dot all "I"s and cross all "T"s before the skis get to the public. Baller Stevie Boy Posted November 3, 2014 Baller Posted November 3, 2014 @Horton, so is it possible, that the current "V Type" may not be the finished product, that ends up as a retail item, available to the public ?
Baller wtrskior Posted November 3, 2014 Baller Posted November 3, 2014 @Stevie Boy V-type is already in stores, available for sale. Saw one yesterday! Looks really sharp
Administrators Horton Posted November 3, 2014 Administrators Posted November 3, 2014 @Stevie Boy anything is possible but I don't think so. Asher looks really good on his and production skis are out there. Heck @wtrskior saw one. Baller MattP Posted November 3, 2014 Baller Posted November 3, 2014 I know 66"s have been on shelves for a little bit and 67"s were sett to start coming out of the moulds and shipping this past week.
Baller Stevie Boy Posted November 3, 2014 Baller Posted November 3, 2014 It's a shame the video of Will Asher, that was on the homepage, did not show the previous pass, it would have been nice to see video of the ski, through the whole course, instead of a couple of bouy,s. I do agree with Horton, it did look impressive, but there again Will Asher was riding it.
Baller_ Wish Posted November 3, 2014 Baller_ Posted November 3, 2014 Brian Detrick looked good on his S2 over the weekend...just sayn...
Administrators Horton Posted November 3, 2014 Administrators Posted November 3, 2014 @wish that is not an S2. V Type prototype Connelly ★ Goode ★ HO Syndicate ★ KD Skis ★ MasterCraft ★ PerfSki Radar ★ Reflex ★ S Lines ★ Stokes ★ Baller Video Coaching System ★ Wake Lending Become a Supporting Member or make a One-time Donation
Baller_ Wish Posted November 3, 2014 Baller_ Posted November 3, 2014 I asked him directly, ski in hand, this past Sat if it was an S2... Yes was the answer and the steps were on the bottom of the ski and graphics were S2. He also looked at mine and commented on how many design elements of the S2 were incoprerted into the V-Type. I think he woulda just showed me his vs telling me. If I misunderstood him I musta had a couple gallons of water still in my ears from my set. Sooooo...back to .... just sayn ;-)
Baller wtrskior Posted November 3, 2014 Baller Posted November 3, 2014 @Rpc29 lol. How can you disagree with my post? They are for sale right now in stores. Saw one on Saturday with me own eyes.... http://www.perfski.com/Waterskis/Slalom-Skis/2015-HO-Syndicate-V-Type-slalom-ski-(Black).html
Administrators Horton Posted November 3, 2014 Administrators Posted November 3, 2014 No point in arguing with you. Go out and buy a ski exactly like what BD is one. I will pay for it. Baller Rpc29 Posted November 3, 2014 Baller Posted November 3, 2014 @wtrskior Oops. Didn't mean to do that.
Baller skialex Posted November 4, 2014 Baller Posted November 4, 2014 I set the fin on a 66" V Type 10 days ago and I live in Greece! The guy went out on the second round of a tournament (first time on the ski) and came back with a big smile. I think he matched his tournament PB!

Baller skialex Posted November 5, 2014 Baller Posted November 5, 2014 I just wanted to point out that V Type has already reached the edge of ski world and not only one, there was one more available to demo. As far as the story above it is true, the guy is under 17, skis into deap -35@36 comes from an A3 and skis better and better all the time.
Administrators Horton Posted November 12, 2014 Administrators Posted November 12, 2014 I heard a report from a open rated skier who shall not be named .... that he ran over 4 ball at 41 off is first set on the V-Type. That is saying something.
