Face felt frozen today What to wear water 43 air 52

I skied today for the first time in about 6 months. Water and air were C O L D !!!!!!!!!

 

What do you guys wear to cover your face? That was the only really bad pain.

Good for you for getting out @mrpreuss! We also skied today in BC. Water 42 and air 4 Celcius, not sure what that is in F. I wear a neoprene beanie and a helme

t and its all good. Hands get cold though.

When it is that cold I stay inside. I took two sets here today one in a long & 1 in a spring suit. Air 65ish water 55ish.

I use neoprene hat, I think its made by O'neil for surfing, others I ski with wear a mad bomber style hat. I am fine with that with air in the high 30s and water in the mid 30s... The only thing I don't like about the neoprene hat is that the pressure feels funny on my ears when I get up, if I pull the sides out real fast, it goes away.

I use a 6mm dive hood. Any dice suply shop should hVe them and they are pretty toasty.

I only slalom so no jumpers for me 6 28's
