What size Senate?

163 pounds, -15/22 31-33mph (soon to be 34?) I have enjoyed the official BOS Radar Vice 66" (non-carbon) for several years and have really liked it. I've gained a few pounds (all muscle of course) since I started on it and I'm ready to upgrade to something a little lighter. I have an older 67" Senate (not carbon) and it seems a little big.

So for my next ski I'm thinking about a graphite senate 65" but since I'm near the cutoff for weight I thought I would put it out there to hear your opinion. I think the Senate 65" has a little more surface area than my Vice so I think it should be big enough. Anyone advocate for getting a 67 Senate or graphite Vapor instead?

@crashman for what it's worth I was struggling with the question of a 67 or 69 because I'm in the middle of the weight ranges between those (for either a Senate graphite or a CX superlite). The opinions of most people on here seemed to be that at 190 lbs I should go with the 67. I chose the Senate because it seems to be just a little wider. I did think about a 68 Vapor... but for me that's probably too much ski at the moment. The Senate is arriving today. I didn't really have any good demo options... so I just took a chance on it. Ironically a day after I ordered it a thread got started on here about Senate vs CX superlite.... with everyone chiming in that the CX was a lot better. I'm hoping they're not completely right!

@eddie_roberts_jr Thanks for the advice. I Saw in another post there is a difference between the 2014 and 2015 lithium vapors that make the newer version more forgiving. Is there a difference between the 2014 and 2015 graphite vapors as well?
