Baller DmaxJC_ski Posted May 10, 2015 Baller Share Posted May 10, 2015 So typically I'm cheap, I'm not an impulse buyer. I like to research, take my time, watch for the exact deal I'm lookin for. Recently I've had a buddy offe me a 92 brendella, 5.7, borderline pristine cond, right around 300 hrs for under 7k, I've been watching boats from that 5-10k range for a while now, any specifics on the brendella I should look for? Any type of boats in that price/year range that stand out more then others?
Baller 6balls Posted May 10, 2015 Baller Share Posted May 10, 2015 Sounds like a nice deal. Consider also the following: Malibu Echelon http://www.boattrader.com/listing/1994-Malibu-Echelon-102328852 MC 190 '91-'94 (probably '91 in your price range) http://www.onlyinboards.com/1993-MASTERCRAFT-PROSTAR-190-WITH-350-LT1-for-sale-SPRINGFIELD-Ohio-49433.aspx Supra Comp-- http://www.onlyinboards.com/1990-Supra-Comp-174-Hrs--for-sale-Stoneboro-Pennsylvania-47480.aspx
Baller_ DW Posted May 10, 2015 Baller_ Share Posted May 10, 2015 @DmaxJC_ski: You might try calling Mike Brendella at MB boats and ask him about that boat. A friend had one and always said good things about it.
Baller thager Posted May 10, 2015 Baller Share Posted May 10, 2015 I had a 93 Hydrodyne Comp that had a sweet wake for slalom, and a great wake for trick and wake stuff.
Baller DanE Posted May 10, 2015 Baller Share Posted May 10, 2015 Looking for older boats I would shoot for all composite hulls (wood free). Wood thats laminated in the hull will eventually rot. Jmho
