mdmSkier
Any recommendations for a new trick ski? I currently ski on an old EP but would like to invest in something more modern. As far as my ability, I'm really not that good. I can get up and ski around on one without getting too shaky but am not at the point where I can do any of the surface slides. That's something I'll be working on this summer. Considering that I'm just starting out, I'm looking for a ski that tracks well (has the groves) and is reasonably priced. I'm also open to picking up a used ski but it seems hard to find one in decent condition. Thanks in advance!
Baller Chef23 Posted June 11, 2015 Baller Share Posted June 11, 2015 D3, Quantum or Radar would all work well for you. There isn't much available for deals or on the used market.
mdmSkier
Thanks! Do you also have any recommendations regarding length and bindings? I weigh about 170 lbs and am considering the Wiley trick wraps since I already use rubber high wraps on my slalom ski.
Baller Chef23 Posted June 11, 2015 Baller Share Posted June 11, 2015 As a beginner I would say go with a 44" ski it will be easier to learn. A 43" would work fine also my son is about your weight and is on a 43. Wileys work fine.
