Baller mbabiash Posted June 17, 2015 Baller Posted June 17, 2015 I'm setting up a ski for a friend on my lake that wants a better ski than the one he is on. I have an old phantom carbon and some old rs1 boots. Anyone know binding placement on a 67 inch. Fin numbers would be nice too just to make sure it's not too far off. Thanks Matt
Baller mbabiash Posted June 17, 2015 Author Baller Posted June 17, 2015 You should see the ski he is on now. It's about to break.
Baller ALPJr Posted June 17, 2015 Baller Posted June 17, 2015 Nothing wrong with a Phantom aka CDX. There were quite a few -39's run, and tourneys and championships won on that design.
Baller wtrskior Posted June 17, 2015 Baller Posted June 17, 2015 Would think it would be close to where most bindings are set now. StanDard seems to be 29-30" for a 67 on most skis. I'd start at 29.5 from the tail to lower stitch and go from there
Baller thager Posted June 17, 2015 Baller Posted June 17, 2015 boot 29 1/4 ,L 6.85, D 2.495, and dft.920 wing at 9 if I remember correctly. Drew Ross would know I am sure.
Baller JayG80 Posted June 17, 2015 Baller Posted June 17, 2015 MattP is correct, Wade Cox moved my DFT to .85, depth 2.49.
Baller MrJones Posted June 17, 2015 Baller Posted June 17, 2015 I had a 67" Phantom... for a few weeks. Thought it would be like a less expensive version of a carbon Goode. (Not)
Administrators Horton Posted June 17, 2015 Administrators Posted June 17, 2015 Was a great ski in it's day. A Ford Model T was a great car in it's day.
