Baller JayG80 Posted July 6, 2015 Baller Share Posted July 6, 2015 Instead of re-carpeting the bunks in your lift cradle - consider gatorbak.com/. It's a nice product. The ribbed rubber bunk covers let the water drain and are easy to install. I hope they will not require periodic power washing like the carpeted bunks. Baller Andre Posted July 6, 2015 Baller Share Posted July 6, 2015 Have similar to those for the last 12 years. Zero wear on those or the boat.Way better then wet carpet! My ski finish in 16.95 but my ass is out of tolerance!
Baller Waternut Posted July 6, 2015 Baller Share Posted July 6, 2015 Looks awesome but they sure are proud of that plastic sheet... would cost me $225 plus some insane shipping fees for a 12 foot packaging. Just redid my bunks today and spent $30 for 2 new boards and new carpet. First time in 5 years and I only did it because I'm getting a new boat and it was a convenient time. pwdrski
I need to replace my carpet on my bunks and decided to do the bunk boards at the same time. The current bunk boards on my PCM trailer are pressure treated boards, but I've seen where some folks are substituting TREX type synthetic boards instead of the pressure treated boards for the bunks. Any suggestions pro or con??
