Baller OldboyII Posted July 6, 2015 Baller Share Posted July 6, 2015 - What bag or backpack do you use to carry your skiing stuff to lake and from the lake? - Are there any smart ideas how to organize this? - What gear do you use? I'm always in trouble when need to find anything in my bag and the bag either too big or too small ))
Baller Chef23 Posted July 6, 2015 Baller Share Posted July 6, 2015 I have one of the Goode Bags that holds the ski and a bunch of other stuff. I put my ski and rope in it and attach my gloves to the strap. I usually carry my vest, towel and wetsuit top separately but they would fit in the bag. I don't even have a Goode anymore but I like the bag.
Supporting Member Than_Bogan Posted July 6, 2015 Supporting Member Share Posted July 6, 2015 I use The Ultimate Granny Bag: A big tote from L.L. Bean. Looks super-dorky, but that fits with everything else I own...
Baller jimbrake Posted July 6, 2015 Baller Share Posted July 6, 2015 Like this without the snow.
doonez
2 Fish Bins. When we are done, the wet stuff goes in one and the dry in the other. Not super stylish but hey..
Baller Ed_Obermeier Posted July 6, 2015 Baller Share Posted July 6, 2015 I use a mesh laundry bag. Jacket goes in first, upside down, everything else (gloves, heater shirt, rope and handle, knee brace...) goes inside that. Works great. Low cost and no case, backpack etc to store in the boat. Joeprunc
Ski and gloves in a bag, in one hand. Towel, vest, rope, soap, sunblock, keys, wallet...in this backpack. http://www.liquidforce.com/luggage-wet-mesh-bag.html And a full gas can in the other hand. Baller MarkM Posted July 9, 2015 Baller Share Posted July 9, 2015 I use this http://www.amazon.com/AquaLung-Mariner-Mesh-Large-Black/dp/B0000DCW3P It lets my gear dry, it's tough, and the zipper never gets stuck from lake water crust.
Baller_ DW Posted July 9, 2015 Baller_ Share Posted July 9, 2015 A scuba dive bag found on clearance works well for: vest / gloves / neo garments / towel / handle, then ski in a ski bag.
skibumm
I don't carry my own stuff that is what wife/kids are for LOL. I have and OGIO bag that has a bottom vented section for wetsuit or jacket and another vented for gloves and sun shirt. and other packets for other gear

Baller A_B Posted July 12, 2015 Baller Share Posted July 12, 2015 I only carry what I need to ski, but all the "extra" stuff is in a Rubbermaid container. I attached Velcro male tape on bottom so it doesn't slide around on my carpet in my Yukon. When I'm done skiing, it goes on the boat trailer.
