Baller kc Posted July 15, 2015 Baller Share Posted July 15, 2015 Just received a 66.5" Flex Tail today. Anyone running numbers different than those posted on Goode's website? Thanks
Baller mbabiash Posted July 15, 2015 Baller Share Posted July 15, 2015 Just curious what your depth is. My buddy has a 66.5 and his fin came 2.512. He couldn't run 32 at 58k. Called trent and he told him to go 2.495 and he ran 35 Which he hasn't done this year on his old ski. I'm not sure on the length or dft but his fin was way too deep from factory. DeperatelySeeking38
Just got the Flextail and love the off side 1,3,5 but I am having a tough time getting it to turn on 2,4,6. I am a lightweight (142 pounds soaking wet and RFF) so I went with the 65.25. Everything is within 1 to 2 thousandths of factory recommended settings. Front Binding 29 5/16, DFT .746, Length 6.857, Depth 2.475. I am coming off a Twist 65.75 and never had issues with 2,4,6 before. Any insight would be appreciated. I would like to figure this out 'cause 1,3,5 are better than I ever thought they could be. Thanks in advance!
Baller jackski Posted July 21, 2015 Baller Share Posted July 21, 2015 You probably noticed that the numbers on the Goode website have changed radically in the last week. I'm the same as you but lff, 140 lb - 65.25. I used the original #'s then went to the new ones you are trying but found I couldn't ski with that much tip as I had the same off side problem. I went to 6.776 and problem solved. Skiing is back to matching my pb's
