Baller davemac Posted August 8, 2015 Baller Share Posted August 8, 2015 My youngest (soon to be 14 yo) daughter is almost in need of a slalom ski. She is a petite 5'-1", 103 lbs, with womens 5.5 feet. I don't anticipate her getting much bigger. She is likely to remain a casual recreational skier. I'm thinking the 63" RTA is a good ski choice for her, but wondering what others are using for bindings? Her foot size translates to a mens 4 or 4.5, which falls below the Radar offerings. Any thoughts or suggestions....
Baller MrJones Posted August 8, 2015 Baller Share Posted August 8, 2015 Hard to beat Wiley's and a rear toe. They even offer custom stuff for really small feet if you call them. Our little ones were in them before changing over to Reflex.
Baller perfski Posted August 8, 2015 Baller Share Posted August 8, 2015 As Mr Jones said...the Wileys is a good option...but also might consider the Smaller Radar Vector with the aluminum plate... If you want a toe plate...do an XS HO. If we can help, reach out to Brian in our internet dept or Cathy, Danielle or Anthony in our proshop. We've sold a bunch of these skis...and if she really gets into it...you might consider adding an adjustable fin block to it. We've done this, and this allows you some really good fin numbers. Matt Rini has helped us with these and seems to really bring the ski to life!
