Baller_ Bruce_Butterfield Posted December 7, 2015 Baller_ Share Posted December 7, 2015 It has been several years since I experimented with a Carbon fin, so after some deliberation, I pulled out an old Carbon fin from my fin rack today and gave it a shot. With a .22 Then a .357 Then a .45 This was the biggest piece left. I can't recommend those fins highly enough! If it was easy, they would call it Wakeboarding

Baller auskier Posted December 7, 2015 Baller Share Posted December 7, 2015 now it looks a little softer than a 88 ... by memory, the 88 was the softest? Or was it the 106 or something? Im pretty sure I have a few 88 redims around somewhere.
Baller A_B Posted December 7, 2015 Baller Share Posted December 7, 2015 You could be on to a new fin shape there Bruce, stick it in the fin box and give it a rip!

Baller aupatking Posted December 10, 2015 Baller Share Posted December 10, 2015 I just put together a Frankenstein D3 Nomad for a buddy. Its got a Rockerblock 45, and a carbon 88 on it. Skis better than I remember the factory setup..... but I don't remember much.
Baller sunvalleylaw Posted February 5, 2017 Baller Share Posted February 5, 2017 @aupatking , and now you just received another Nomad with a carbon fin (horton's) in it for a buddy. Hopefully he enjoys it!
Baller SkiJay Posted February 6, 2017 Baller Share Posted February 6, 2017 I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if an innocent carbon fin suddenly cried out in terror and was suddenly silenced ...

Baller_ Bruce_Butterfield Posted February 6, 2017 Author Baller_ Share Posted February 6, 2017 Yeah except there is no such thing as an innocent carbon fin. Those those things are inherently evil. >:) If it was easy, they would call it Wakeboarding
