Baller aupatking Posted April 10, 2016 Baller Share Posted April 10, 2016 I'm pretty sure it's one of these beasts. The boot setup is a fluid motion with Silvretta release. Can't remember what model they call it.

Baller_ Bruce_Butterfield Posted April 11, 2016 Baller_ Share Posted April 11, 2016 That's nothing I've seen before. Both tip and tail are much narrower than anything current. Garage shop or early proto of something. If it was easy, they would call it Wakeboarding
Administrators Horton Posted April 11, 2016 Author Administrators Share Posted April 11, 2016 @Bruce_Butterfield does it seem like the bindings are way back or there is a lot of ski out front? Baller chris55 Posted April 11, 2016 Baller Share Posted April 11, 2016 To me it is a O'Brien Mapple 2002 like mine or it is a Goode but I don't know which model but you can see hime on this pic
Baller_ Bruce_Butterfield Posted April 11, 2016 Baller_ Share Posted April 11, 2016 Now that you mention it, it does look like the bindings are way back. The front has the "dish out" like the elite, but the tip looks way narrower. Also tail is much more round than most skis today. I'll stick with very early proto of something new......or maybe something old that wasn't very popular. If it was easy, they would call it Wakeboarding

Baller Kelvin Posted April 11, 2016 Baller Share Posted April 11, 2016 I was there and saw an O'brien logo on the bottom of the ski. Not exactly sure which model. I didn't get a close look at it, but some of the other skiers were commenting that it was an older model from around 2003 or so.

Baller chris55 Posted April 11, 2016 Baller Share Posted April 11, 2016 I just took this picture 5 minutes ago and I am pretty sure it is the same ski. I skied on it until last season and now I switch to the T2. Even the rabbit agree :p
Baller B_S Posted April 11, 2016 Baller Share Posted April 11, 2016 @aupatking I agree. I skied on one of those vintage Mapple-Siege Obriens for many years. Looks just like a painted version of that!

Baller ToddL Posted April 12, 2016 Baller Share Posted April 12, 2016 To me it is just an older ski with a black paint or wrap job to cover up the old graphics. Here's the same picture lightened up to show more detail.
Administrators Horton Posted April 12, 2016 Author Administrators Share Posted April 12, 2016 It really looks like the old O'Brien in that picture but my super secret spies tell me otherwise.
