Baller Glydon Posted June 8, 2016 Baller Share Posted June 8, 2016 I have a friend that asked me about this ski , well since it is so far removed from what I ride I had no idea on what to tell him. Can anyone offer some insight into it ? He is 6 foot and 200 pounds and wants to really just improve his open water slalom but he does like to ski 30-32 mph. Baller Ski_Dad Posted June 8, 2016 Baller Share Posted June 8, 2016 i think that is more intended for slower speeds. Probably HO TX would be a better ski for what he wants.

Baller Zoro957 Posted June 9, 2016 Baller Share Posted June 9, 2016 I rode an HO freeride series a number of years ago when I was 225 lbs. I skied it from 30-34 MPH and ran -22 off with that ski. Just avoid the HO animal bindings as I broke both ankles with those things.
Baller Garn Posted June 9, 2016 Baller Share Posted June 9, 2016 In addition to getting a VTR, I also bought a Freeride earlier this year. I free skied it a few weeks back and I was incredibly impressed with it. I think it is a lot more versatile and capable than some of you are giving it credit for. Fun ski!
