Over the first hurdle

Thanks to the encouragement of several of ballers (@Mike Gile @MarkTimm @richarddoane @Horton) I showed up at a small tournament (with my ski) for the first time. Everyone was super nice and I had a great time, got to ski a great site, with great boats! It really was not as intimidating as I had made it in my head. I've got a lot of work to do on my skiing but the first hurdle has been cleared. Thanks again!

Tournaments, and all the people involved with them, have not only been some of my funnest moments in skiing, but they have also improved my skiing immeasurably. The shortliners are always very gracious and forthcoming with the golden nuggets of wisdom.

 

There is absolutely nothing to be afraid of when signing up for a tournament - unless your afraid of fun and improvement.
