Patmaster Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Anyone saw/tried these? Any relation to Travers "EDGE" boot? Any thoughts? Is it an HO 2017-specific mount?
Baller fox197 Posted October 6, 2016 Baller Posted October 6, 2016 They are exactly the same as the edge binding but just rebranded
Baller rockdog Posted October 6, 2016 Baller Posted October 6, 2016 If nothing else, HO never disappoints with their website. Good job by the crew @savaiusini. These boots look good.
Patmaster Posted October 6, 2016 Author Posted October 6, 2016 @savaiusini, any additional details? HO new plate specific or not?
Baller Chef23 Posted October 6, 2016 Baller Posted October 6, 2016 Seems a little pricey. They did do some extra engineering to it. Cost for a new Supershell is a little over $500 including liner with a G10 plate.
Baller BraceMaker Posted October 6, 2016 Baller Posted October 6, 2016 definitely looks like a specific plate for the HO binding mount.
Administrators Horton Posted October 6, 2016 Administrators Posted October 6, 2016 All top of the line binding systems sold today fit the same front binding pattern. Baller dchristman Posted October 6, 2016 Baller Posted October 6, 2016 Apparently not anymore, @Horton. It looks like this HO version is for HO Direct Connect... you would have to use an HO Direct Connect adapter plate on other brand skis.

Baller Fehlindra Posted October 6, 2016 Baller Posted October 6, 2016 Seems to be the case but the edge plate have normal pattern, if so those using older HO skis must go for edge version
Baller LakeOneSkier Posted October 6, 2016 Baller Posted October 6, 2016 I would tend to agree with @dchristman .. if you are NOT skiing on a v-type/vtx, bolt the new Syndicate Hardshells to a HO Direct Connect adapter plate and mount the plate to any ski.
Baller savaiusini Posted October 6, 2016 Baller Posted October 6, 2016 The Syndicate Hardshell system with liner is available in 2017 with a standard plate only and will mount on any ski with standard inserts. We may be releasing a direct connect version at a later date, but for now it is still under development. Sam Avaiusini - HO Sports Company - Director of Inside Sales and Business Operations
MCWyeth Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 I am looking for 2x of these HO Direct Connect adapter plates for the rear boot (specifically the type pictured above) with the two small M6 theaded posts sticking up. Does anyone have 2 rear plates they might want to part with, or know of any shops that might have some still in stock? These are incredibly hard to find, so thanks if anyone can help me out!
wouldgo Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 Won't these plates work? from https://skipro.com/max-rear-boot-adapt-plate-s16-342681-1.html
MCWyeth Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 No, those newer plates (with an attached foot bed) are a more recent/current type of adapter plate which requires disassembling all the base screws in the entire baseplate of a freeMAX, xMAX, or Stance binding, and will NOT work with the vMax. The specific vMax adapters I am looking for just attach to the binding with two flanged nuts screwed onto the two M6 metric posts sticking up from the adapter plate. The plates I am looking for (does anyone have any of these to sell?) can be seen here: https://westmarine.com/buy/ho-sports--vmax-front-adapter-plate--17258450
Baller BraceMaker Posted June 16, 2021 Baller Posted June 16, 2021 Funny I still need the opposite with studs sticking up where the slots are and countersunk holes going in where the studs are.
