Baller WBLskier Posted November 8, 2016 Baller Posted November 8, 2016 Looking to help my 69 year old dad replace his ski. He's on a 2010 (or so) 67" Senate C. He's 5'10 and 210lbs. He skis 15 of and 22 off at 30 and 32 mph mostly. He gets a lot of spray at 30mph and I think he is working harder than he needs to with a ski that is a little small for him at this point. Thinking of suggesting he buys a 2017 Senate, but I'm not sure which one would be best (Graphite or Lithium). Any thoughts? Graphite seems like it would be fine for him but I'm curious what others think.
Baller Ralph Lee Posted November 9, 2016 Baller Posted November 9, 2016 Either will work great! I'd go with the 71 inch if I were him.
Baller eddie_roberts_jr Posted November 9, 2016 Baller Posted November 9, 2016 I think the Graphite Senate will work just fine for him. I've been skiing on the 2017 Graphite and really like it. I personally don't think he needs to go all the way up to a 71" ski though. I think he'll really like the 69" Senate Graphite.
Baller Fast351 Posted November 10, 2016 Baller Posted November 10, 2016 I'm around 205-210 and I have a Graphite Senate in 69". It's plenty of surface area for my weight, he should be fine.
