The BroHo lake club boat is a 2015 CP with a PCM 6.0 which has run flawlessly for 500 hours. I started having the check engine light come on randomly, but most of the time half way through the course and then goes off at idle. Sometimes it comes on at idle too. All temps and pressures are correct and boat runs fine. I changed all filters, plugs and checked and re-sealed all connectors, but light continues to randomly come on. I talked to the PCM dealer and he said unless it stays on permanently, he cannot determine the cause.

Any thoughts on this? OF

Hey Rob. Have you tried resetting the computer? Or check the actual connection side of the engine light itself. Seems simple, but just a good starting point. Looks like I won't be trying to buy that boat when the time comes.... ha ha just kidding. Let me know what you find.

Doesn't make any sense that the dealer can't tell you the cause. Diacom will show the inactive codes, my Malibu will show them to you on the diagnostic screen.

Agree with @Jody_Seal

I have a 2015 200 with a 6 litre that was doing the same thing. Would come on sporadically and then go away. It never seemed to affect the operation of the boat. Turns out it was a bad O2 sensor.
