Baller_ Wish Posted January 12, 2017 Baller_ Share Posted January 12, 2017 While the concept of ice fishing was misunderstood, @MS and @thager continue to find ways to get through the long winter. @Razorskier1 (not pictured) reported to be on a beer run. . . Baller John Brooks Posted January 12, 2017 Baller Share Posted January 12, 2017 Seems surprising that the sun is out. I thought it was gray and cloudy until May.
Baller thager Posted January 12, 2017 Baller Share Posted January 12, 2017 Just a bad rumor. Like Seattle we promote bad weather to keep the riffraff away!

Baller DaveD Posted January 13, 2017 Baller Share Posted January 13, 2017 Shouldn't there be a cooler of beer in that canoe?
Baller Nando Posted January 13, 2017 Baller Share Posted January 13, 2017 Well, it looks like more fun than sitting in a dark box on the ice...

Baller riplash Posted January 15, 2017 Baller Share Posted January 15, 2017 @DaveD They need the cooler to keep the beer from getting too cold and freezing. When I lived up north. I had to put the beer in the cooler in the back of my truck, otherwise it would freeze on the drive home and burst.
Baller Fast351 Posted January 17, 2017 Baller Share Posted January 17, 2017 When ice fishing, we typically cover the beer cooler with snow. Good enough insulator to keep the beer from freezing... There will be an ice fishing party at my place this weekend. I'll take pics for the southerners. My pickup will be sitting where I slalom ski in the summer. :)
