$5 fines

One more day and I'm on my way to pay some $5 fines, try a new ski, soak up some sun, drink some homemade Mezcal, and hang out with some pretty awesome skiers!

Awesome Naughtibynature! What is up with the $5 fines down with Gordon? I heard (vaguely) of fines for some reason, but I have forgotten and I have never made it down there. If it is for missing gates, well, I would have to bring along a lot of extra cash! :)

The fines are for doing "stupid" things, such as jumping off the platform without your handle, being too hungover to ski, etc. Not sure if it is still the case, but he used to donate all the fine money to local causes at the end of the season.

Both times I've been there fines money went to a local orphanage-Marsh home for children- a very worthy cause and no middle man taking a cut.

@Nautibynature - you should be having an absolute ball around now!
